BUHLENI BUGANU CEREMONY TO BE HELD
FROM 21-23 FEBRUARY 2025
His Majesty King Mswati III has officially summoned the Lutsango regiment for the first session of the Buganu Ceremony, as announced by Indvuna yeLutsango Lontfombi Ndzimandze.
This cherished cultural event is set to take place at the Buhleni Royal Residence from February 21 to February 23, 2025.
Indvuna Make Lotfobhi Ndzimandze conveyed that the original date of February 7 has been rescheduled. Festivities will commence on Friday, February 21, 2025, with members of the Lutsango regiment expected to converge at the royal residence with their Buganu.
The highlight of the ceremony will be on Saturday, February 22, when traditional dances and cultural displays will entertain both participants and visitors alike. This day will serve to showcase the rich heritage and traditions of Eswatini, fostering cultural pride.
The ceremony will conclude on Sunday, February 23, 2025, when the Lutsango regiment will disperse, marking the end of the celebrations.
